    Timeline

     

    1951
    The company was founded in 1951 by Mr. Reinhold Seipp as ISOLIERBEDARF REINHOLD SEIPP in Giessen. The company was based on Bahnhofstrasse. The range included insulating materials for electrical engineering and electronics. A short time later, due to space constraints, a larger building on Wilhelmstrasse was rented.
    1959
    This year, a new residential and company building was built at Siemensstrasse 1-5 and moved there.
    1970
    In 1970 these rooms were also too small and the first extension to the existing warehouse was carried out. The range was expanded to include tools and machines.
    1973
    In 1973, ISOLIERBEDARF REINHOLD SEIPP was transformed into SEIPP KG.
    1978
    In 1978, SEIPP KG became SEIPP GmbH & Co. KG.
    1990
    The final construction phase took place with the addition of the wire warehouse.
    1994
    In 1994 Mr. Reinhold Seipp sold SEIPP GmbH & Co. KG to its two authorized representatives, Mr. Jürgen Arnold and Mr. Dieter Neumann, and entered his well-deserved retirement. Since then, the new managing directors have been running the company under the name SEIPP Handelsgesellschaft für Elektrotechnik mbH.
    2000
    In August 2000, the company founder, Mr. Reinhold Seipp, died after a long, serious illness.
    2009
    Relocation of the company headquarters from Gießen to Langgöns to Raiffeisenstrasse 8-10.
