Code of Conduct

Seipp Handelsgesellschaft für Elektrotechnik mbH

As of: January 2026

Our corporate philosophy and values

As a partner rich in tradition in the electrical machine and transformer construction industry, we at Seipp see sustainability as the core of our business model. This principle has guided our daily actions for over 75 years.

Particularly in the repair and maintenance of electric motors, we make an active contribution to resource conservation. This extends the life cycles of valuable components, reduces the need for new production, saves raw materials, and minimizes energy consumption in the manufacturing of new motors.

Our commitment to the future

Our commitment to the environment is reflected in various areas. We have invested in the modernization of our building infrastructure to increase energy efficiency (e.g., LED lighting, insulation).

We strictly adhere to substance-related regulations (such as RoHS and REACH) to prevent hazardous substances from entering the environment. In addition, we consistently use second-use cardboard boxes and have optimized our processes for waste prevention.

Human Rights & Labor Standards

We respect internationally recognized human rights and strictly reject any form of forced and child labor. This applies to our own company as well as our entire supply chain.

We promote equal opportunity and equal treatment. Discrimination based on ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age, or sexual identity is not tolerated.

In addition, we commit to paying living wages.

Integrity & Fair Competition

We pursue a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and bribery. Additionally, we ensure that conflicts of interest are avoided; private interests must not influence business decisions.

Likewise, we commit to complying with all applicable antitrust and competition laws. We do not participate in price-fixing, market allocation, or other anti-competitive practices.

Health & Occupational Safety

The safety and health of our employees is our top priority. We guarantee a safe working environment by adhering to strict occupational safety standards and conducting regular risk assessments.

Through preventive measures and training, we minimize workplace risks and promote the physical and mental well-being of our workforce.

Responsibility in the Supply Chain

We also expect our suppliers to comply with the principles set forth in this Code. This specifically includes the responsible use of resources and the avoidance of conflict minerals in the supplied components.

We strive for long-term partnerships based on fairness, transparency, and shared responsibility.

Data Protection & Property

We protect confidential information, trade secrets, and the intellectual property of business partners (patents, trademarks). We process personal data strictly in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR).

Likewise, we respect international trade and sanction regulations as well as laws to combat money laundering.

Obligations and Implementation

Every employee is obligated to comply with this Code. Violations or suspected cases can be reported at any time – including anonymously – to the Compliance Office. We guarantee that whistleblowers will not suffer any disadvantages as a result (protection against retaliation).

At the same time, the following applies to our partners: We expect our business partners and suppliers to ensure an equal level of integrity, environmental protection, and social responsibility. We consider the willingness to comply with these standards to be an essential basis for a mutual business relationship.

Unser Engagement für die Zukunft

Sustainability is not a static state for us, but a continuous process. We strive to constantly evolve our measures, integrate innovative technologies, and continuously reduce our environmental impact. Our goal is to be a role model in our industry.
