Areas of application include sealing joints between a wide variety of materials in mechanical and equipment engineering, refrigeration equipment, engine construction, automotive engineering, railcar construction, and construction. In engine construction, it is used for sealing terminal boxes for moisture protection insulation, cable bushings for cast resin sleeves, and winding heads, especially for rod windings encapsulated with casting compounds.
