Description:

EPPLE 22 is a one-component, solvent-based, copolymer-based sealant. Wherever high demands are placed on a sealant in terms of film strength and adhesion, EPPLE 22 is particularly suitable. Due to its low viscosity, difficult seals are also possible, since EPPLE 22 also flows well into narrow gaps. After the solvent has evaporated, EPPLE 22 forms a hard-elastic film with high resistance to aging in the sealing joint.

Application:

• surface seal

The sealant is used in particular to seal flanges on gears, transformers, pumps of various types, compressors and turbines.

Special properties:

EPPLE 22 is silicone-free and contains no halogen compounds.

Processing/surface:

• The surfaces of the parts to be joined must be clean and free of dust and grease
• If possible, stir the sealant before use

At room temperature, a skin forms within 15 minutes.
