Milling cutter HF 100 A – universal tool for metalworking

The HF 100 A milling cutter is cylindrical in shape and therefore ideal for surface machining of

  • Cast iron,
  • structural steel,
  • high-temperature resistant materials and
  • Non-ferrous metal.

The HF 100 A milling cutter is manufactured without face teeth.

Milling cutter optimally matched to the material

Ideal milling results depend on a variety of parameters. Therefore, the number and shape of the teeth, as well as the concentricity, the helix angle and the rake angle must be optimally coordinated. Klingspor offers the HF 100 A burr in various dimensions and with different “Cuts” cuts in order to always offer the ideal tool properties for every application. The Universal cut, the so-called Cut 2, is the standard cut for general applications. It impresses with its good finishing properties. Carbide burrs equipped with the cross cut Cut 6 ensure high material removal, while the smaller chip formation also prevents premature clogging of the burr and thus ensures fast material removal. A cylindrical burr with the Cut 3 “Aluminum” cut is particularly suitable for soft, long-chipping materials such as aluminum. The special geometry of the cut prevents premature clogging of the burr.
