Phase insulation-Nomex properties:
The three-layer insulation consists of a polyester film with NOMEX®, aramid paper coating on both sides, using uncalendered aramid paper. The film achieves heat class F (+155°C). The high electrical dielectric strength and pronounced receptivity to impregnating agents and the excellent flexibility combined with sufficient rigidity make it an ideal phase insulation. On the one hand, the material can be pushed between the winding strands without any difficulty and, on the other hand, it adapts well to the shape of the winding head.
