1951
The beginnings in Gießen: In 1951, Mr. Reinhold Seipp laid the foundation for today's company with the establishment of ISOLIERBEDARF REINHOLD SEIPP on Bahnhofstraße in Gießen. The initial product range focused on high-quality insulation materials for electrical engineering and electronics.
Shortly thereafter, due to increasing space requirements, the young company moved to larger premises on Wilhelmstraße.
1959
Foundation stone for the future: In this year, a new residential and commercial building was erected at Siemensstraße 1-5, marking the next development step for SEIPP.
1970
Expansion and product range extension: The continuous growth necessitated a first warehouse expansion. At the same time, the product range was expanded to include tools and machinery to better meet customer needs.
1973
Transformation to SEIPP KG: The conversion of ISOLIERBEDARF REINHOLD SEIPP into SEIPP KG was an important step in strengthening the company structure and preparing for future growth.
1978
Establishment as SEIPP GmbH & Co. KG: With the change of name to SEIPP GmbH & Co. KG, the course was set for the continued successful development of the company.
1990
Completion of structural expansion at the site: The addition of the wire warehouse represented the provisional last major construction phase on Siemensstraße and optimized logistical processes.
1994
Generational change and new impetus: Mr. Reinhold Seipp handed over the management of SEIPP GmbH & Co. KG to his authorized signatories Jürgen Arnold and Dieter Neumann and retired. Under the new company name SEIPP Handelsgesellschaft für Elektrotechnik mbH, a new era began.
2000
An honorable remembrance: In August, the company founder Mr. Reinhold Seipp passed away. His visionary entrepreneurial spirit continues to shape SEIPP to this day.

Continuity through the next generation: Mr. Jürgen Arnold entered his well-deserved retirement. Responsibility for SEIPP now lies with the Neumann family of owners, represented by the managing directors Dieter and Maximilian Neumann, who are leading the company into a successful future.
