Epple 33 is a one-component, solvent-based, copolymer-based sealant. The sealant forms a hard-elastic film that can also be used to bridge larger gaps.
Epple 33 is used to seal roughly machined and rough surfaces or threads. It is used e.g. for sealing oven doors, in gear construction and on air ducts. Due to its low viscosity, it can also be used to seal absorbent substrates, as this causes the surface to solidify slightly. Epple 33 is silicone-free. Particularly noteworthy is the high temperature resistance of 320° C.
The surfaces of the parts to be joined must be clean and free of dust and grease. If possible, stir the sealant before use. At room temperature, a skin forms within 15 minutes. The tools are cleaned with Thinner Epple 11.
