Beschreibung
The hose consists of alkali-free glass fabric (E-Glass). It has a wall thickness of 0.3 mm to 0.8 mm. The impregnation consists of high-quality hydrolysis-resistant LSR rubber. This flame retardant coating does not melt when burned and does not emit toxic gases. Nevertheless, the hose remains flexible and soft.
The hose is used in electric motor and transformer construction, to protect electrically, thermally and mechanically stressed components as well as in machine, plant and apparatus construction. No heat or tools are required to install it. The fiberglass tube slips easily over any shape and forms a perfectly fitting sheath. Some examples of this are any type of cable termination, jacketed rectangular conductors on copper bars and terminals, insulated and jacketed wire harnesses.
