The proven electrical properties of the polyester film and the excellent mechanical and thermal properties of the Nomex® outer layers result in this high-quality surface insulation material. The high absorption capacity of waterproofing agents in the outer layers enables an excellent connection of all winding components.
The film reaches heat class H (180 °C).
Application:
B NMN is an economical surface insulation material variant which can be used in suitable insulation systems of class H (180 °C) and is used in electric motors as slot insulation and cover slide as well as phase insulation.
In transformer construction it is processed as core, layer and cover insulation.
