Application:
Elan-tron® PU 4269 is preferred for potting electrical devices that are exposed to strong cycling temperatures. After curing with hardener Elan-tron® PH 4900, Elan-tron® PU 4269 produces a tough-elastic molding material with good thermal conductivity, which enables largely stress-free casting of larger components. Due to these properties, the Elan-tron® PU 4269/hardener Elan-tron® PH 4900 system is particularly suitable for casting large line chokes, such as those used in ballasts in lighting construction, as well as for toroidal core transformers.
