Pressboard is a special product based on cellulose. This is built up into a fiber fleece without additional binders and then pressed. The pressboard now has a high density and therefore good dielectric strength and heat resistance. Due to its high chemical purity, pressboard is ideally suited as an insulating material in electrical machines, capacitors and transformers. The treatment and processing of pressboard is easy.
